This spring, I went home to Sarasota for a few weeks. I am lucky enough to have a best friend who allows me to move in while I am back. I enjoyed every second of my time there and was pumped to be a snowbird for a bit this year.
I rode bikes.
I went to the orchid show.
I went to a Vance Joy show at the coolest venue ever, Jannus Live.
I drank margaritas on the beach. (PS- check out The Coolest if you are in need of an awesome beach accessory).
I went on boat rides.
I shared a birthday week with three very good friends, as well as an epic sunset beach birthday party.
I went to Sunday polo, just like the good old days.
I ran races.
I went to an Orioles Spring Training game.
I walked on the beach at sunrise and sunset.
I volunteered at the Run for the Turtles (mostly to hang out with my friends, but I was pretty good at handing out water bottles, if I can brag a bit).
I celebrated a dear friend’s birthday and St Patrick’s Day all at once, complete with pretzel necklace (thanks, KCS).
While I was stateside I also made it to DC to see my family as well as meet up with a vet school bestie. We ran around the city in the rain and it was fun.
I did all of these things with friends old and new. A most excellent visit!
